Trails End Popcorn Sale
Popcorn sales is a “win-win” for everyone! Our Scouts have an opportunity to earn outstanding prizes or cash again this year. Our units can earn much-needed dollars to deliver a quality unit program. Finally, our Council can continue to provide the many extras that we offer because popcorn supports our operating budget.
Popcorn sales play an important role in supporting our units and the Voyageurs Area Council. A portion of every sale goes to support the operating budget of our council which makes many of the services we have become accustomed to possible. Here are some examples:
- Free training for adult leaders, so that the scouts have the very best leadership possible.
- Continued development of programs at Camp Horace Johnson and at Camp Newman.
- A free video library available for free check out to help leaders make Scouting fun!
- A well stocked, quality Scout Shop to provide for your scouting needs.
- A Council Service Center that is available to directly help unit
It is my pleasure to serve as Kernel of our Council’s 2007 Popcorn Sale. Thanks to all the youth, parents, leaders, and “Friends of Scouting” who have helped us be so successful in our Trails End Popcorn sales in the past.
