Roundtable Meetings - Get the Info You Need!

For Great Bear District Scout leaders, the place to learn about upcoming events, talk to District personnel and get project ideas to bring back to their units is the monthly roundtable meetings held the second Thursday of the month.

District volunteers attend the meeting where they are given a run-down of upcoming district and council events and get a chance to talk with fellow Scout leaders.

Registered adult leaders, parents and those who would like to become registered volunteers are invited to attend roundtable meetings. If you aren't registered, you can register at the meeting.

The meetings are not all business, there's fun involved as well! Those at the meetings have a chance to mingle and discuss Scouting, and other things, with their fellow Scouting leaders.  Attendance at the roundtable meetings count toward adult leader training awards, so it's important for all district leaders to attend. Also, the more people who attend, the more fun the meetings are!

The next Great Bear Roundtable meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9th at the Barnum Community United Methodist Church in Barnum. Meetings generally last until 8:00 p.m.

The District Committee meeting will immediately follow the Roundtable.

Hope to see all of you there!
