Frozen Toe Rendezvous is set for December

The first annual Sleeping Giant District Frozen Toe Rendezvous has been set for Dec. 5 through Dec. 7 at Camp Chicagami.

This winter camping training retreat is for registered adult Scout leaders in the Sleeping Giant District and Voyageurs Area Council.

Learn tricks, tips and crafts from highly experienced winter campers. Classes are designed for novice campers to expert. There will be everything you need to get your Scouts out winter camping or to hone your own winter skills to a razor-sharp edge.

There will be heated bunkhouse accommodations , warm bathroom and shower facilities.

Space is limited and registrations are due by Nov. 1, 2008.
